Salih Can Gevrek was born in Turkey in 1992, is an undergraduate at Royal College of Music studying with Dmitri Alexeev as a Soirée d’Or Scholar supported by a Russell Race Award. He is a prizewinner in many international piano competitions in Turkey, Bulgaria and Russia. He has performed in international music festivals, most notably at the Granada Music Festival in Spain, and has appeared as soloist with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, Ankara Philharmonic Orchestra, Presidential Symphony Orchestra and the Essex Young People’s Orchestra. Salih has performed in masterclasses with Dmitri Bashkirov, Boris Berezovsky, Leonid Margarius, Edna Golandsky and Idil Biret.
